Hello,
I grew up attending a Ukrainian Orthodox Church and did so until I got married and moved to Western NC. I was unable to find a church close to me that was like the one I grew up in and once I had a child and wanted to raise her right I started attending a Lutheran church where we live now. I know it wasnt the same but I figured going to any church was better than no church. The reason I am telling you this is because since then things have seemed to go downhill. I got laid off and we are in a financial mess and my rheumatologist upgraded my connective tissue disease to Lupus plus many other things. I keep wondering in the back of my mind if it has something to do with the type of church I am attending now. Am I crazy or is there some truth to my thinking? Any advice is appreciated.
